Horse back riding, Todd Snider and Robert Earl Keen and Fireworks

Imagine for a moment all that things that make summer wonderful: Picnics, beaches, concerts, meeting new people and getting to see old friends. Now imagine getting to do those things everyday. Yep. That is exactly what this summer has been like. I've done more new things, met more incredible people, and conquered more fears than I ever have before. This summer isn't even half over and I can already say without any doubt that is the best summer that I have ever had. Tony feels the same way. How could anyone lucky enough to experience something like this not?
Saturday I went horse back riding for the first time ever. Sadly Tony was too tall for any of the saddles and he stayed behind. The trade off is that while the rest of us are a bit sore from being jostled around on those large magnificent creatures Tony can sit comfortably today. I wish he would have been able to come though.
The horse I rode was named Bud. He was a beautiful horse, save for the Hannibal lecter-ish type mask.

Also on Saturday night we went and saw Todd Snider!

We've had some great food courtesy of Jeremy and Ashley.

For July 4th we saw a great country music show(headliner: Kevin Flowler) and some fireworks.

On Tuesday we did a 6 hour tubing trip down the Guadalupe River.
Want a postcard from us? Answer this question: What popular tourist attraction will we be visiting tomorrow afternoon? Jeremy and Ashley are not eligible.

Did you know I check your site 2x a day to see if you've updated? I'm a stalker ::creepy music:: =D

Looks like you're having a good time! I had to use my Google-fu (goo-fu) to determine that you in fact still in Texas (Todd Snider's facebook page), and that you have not left the San Antonio area. I then used the chamber of commerce page to research tourist destinations.

Next I used my limited knowledge of Texas and it's tourist attractions to assume that, no matter which particular city you are in, you're probably near The Alamo.

So I vote The Alamo.

I probably didn't need Google for that.

Also, I miss you :3
